`JBIG-KIT`_ is an implementation of the JBIG1 data compression standard (ITU-T T.82), which was designed for bi-level image data, such as scanned documents.


Supported versions
------------------

To check which `JBIG-KIT`_ versions and build types are currently supported on Discoverer, execute on the login node:

 module avail jbigkit

The recipe followed to build the source code is available at:

https://gitlab.discoverer.bg/vkolev/recipes/-/tree/main/jbigkit

There you may also find the log files with the messages generated during the configuration, compilation, testing, and installation of the package.
